As with other training tools, using Halo Sport too much leads to the body adapting to the training and lessening its impact. For that reason, we recommend only using Halo Sport once per day. The 8-hour lockout period is built into the App to prevent users from 'overusing' Halo Sport.
For best results, we typically recommend using Halo Sport 3-4 times per week, paired with your higher intensity training. Ideally, you should incorporate Halo Sport into a balanced and varied workout regimen. Just as you change up the exercises you do each day and the relative intensity of your workouts, it’s beneficial to pair Halo Sport with different types of training and take recovery days.
