Please note: These instructions are for Halo Sport 1. If you have Halo Sport 2, your Primer band's nibs are made with a special new foam which does not need to be recharged.
What's a Recharge kit?
In your Halo Sport 1 package, you will find a Recharge kit. This includes a tray and two packets of Recharge solution. Your Primer "nibs" (foam spikes) act like sponges - they absorb water to help make good contact with your scalp. Over many uses, this ability to absorb water will decrease, which will make it harder to get good contact and may increase the "tingling" sensation you feel when Neuropriming. If you notice this happening, you can use the Recharge pack to resolve these issues. We generally recommend recharging Primers every 2 months; if you rinse your Primers vigorously with water before each use, then you may need to use a Recharge Pack sooner.

How to Perform a Primer Recharge
Note: For best results, your Primers should be completely dry before completing a recharge.
To recharge your Primers, follow these steps:
1. Dispense the contents of one recharge pack into the provided tray.
2. Place one of the Primers in the tray, with the nibs facing down. Use your palm to apply a good amount of downward pressure to the back of the Primer, so that the nibs compress sideways and become submerged in the liquid.
3. Continue to apply pressure to the back of the Primer for 15-20 seconds. Shift the Primer's nibs back and forth repeatedly between presses to ensure that all sides of the Primer's nibs become saturated with the solution.
4. Remove the Primer, and repeat these steps with the remaining two Primers.
The Primers can be used right after being recharged, with no addition of water. It is best not to apply water to the Primers immediately following a recharge, because the recharge fluid may be rinsed out by the water.
