Halo Neuroscience may release free feature enhancements, bug fixes and other updates for your headset with a firmware update.
When a firmware update is ready, the Halo Sport App will prompt you to install the update. You can check to see if you have an update available by going to the app menu. From the remote screen, you can access the app menu by pressing the 3-line menu button in the upper left.
Before beginning the firmware update, make sure that your headset is charged to 70% or above and that it is not plugged into the charger. The update will take 7-10 minutes to download to the headset, followed by an installation period of about 30 seconds. You will then be prompted to turn your headset back on to confirm the upgrade.
Some firmware updates are optional, but we highly recommended installing them to have the optimal Halo Sport experience.
